  • YOUTH WELFARE ASSOCIATION

    The Youth Welfare Department is functioning under the leadership of Mr.G.Rajendran. This association encourages the students to participate in inter-collegiate and state level competitions. It aims at developing writing and speaking skills. It also undertakes student support activities.

  • YOUTH RED CROSS

    This Unit is headed by Mr.U.Sri VaikundaDas . It organizes programmes related to blood donation and free medical camps for the  poor people.

  • NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

    The NSS Unit functioning  under the dynamic leadership of Mr.M.Janarthanan, Mrs.A.Annakilli, Mr.Ulaganathan and Mr.K.Azhagesan do wonderful work by instilling  dignity of labour and inculcating leadership qualities among the students. The highlights of their activities include special camps, Eye Camp, Campus cleaning and blood donation camps. The units also rendered  service to the fishermen community affected by TSUNAMI.



  • CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL

    Career Guidance and placement cell is headed by Mr.C.Suresh. The cell provides information to the students to up-date their knowledge and  gives training to attend competitive examinations and face interviews. Every year campus interviews are conducted to provide placements for meritorious students.


    A number of experts ere being invited to conduct seminars and workshops to develop the various skills of the students, communication skills and skills in attending interviews. This cell  conducts aptitude tests  to enhance students knowledge to secure jobs after graduation.



  • BLOOD DONOR'S CLUB

    The overall activities of this club is Co-ordinated by the Youth Red Cross and Youth welfare officers. The Club encourages the students to donate blood to the poor and the rural area  people. The club also organizes blood donation camps often association with Kanyakumari Medical College Hospital, Asaripallam.



  • ECHO CLUB

    The Club is headed by Dr.E.L.C. Thiruvaranganathan. The Club is active in planting ornamental plants in the campus. The club conducts environmental awareness programmes to maintain a green and beautiful campus.



  • RED RIBBON CLUB

    Red Ribbon Club works under the leadership of Mr.M. Janarthanan. This club functions in association with Tamilnadu Aids Control Society. It creates awareness among the students and develops students as educated peer group.
